Paris Photoshoot: How to Book a Photographer at the Eiffel Tower

A photographer at the tower is a private hour on the ground, not a ticket to the top. Here is what four listings actually include, and what they leave out.

A Paris photoshoot, in the listings people actually book, means a private photographer at the Eiffel Tower for somewhere between 15 minutes and two hours. You meet outside. You do not go up the tower. The pictures are the product, and the ticket to the summit is a different purchase.

We compared four private sessions that were on sale for early January 2027 when we checked on October 25, 2026. Three meet at Trocadéro, looking back at the tower. One meets a short walk away, on Avenue du Président Kennedy, and moves between viewpoints. All four cancel free until 24 hours before. Only one tells you when the files will arrive.

We may earn a commission when you book through links on this page, at no extra cost to you. It never decides our picks. Tour prices are Viator’s US-dollar from-prices, refreshed with ratings every day; they change by date, and Viator may show your local currency. How we make money.

N° 02Le rendez-vous

What you are actually booking

Read the option, not the title. “Eiffel Tower photoshoot” on these pages means the tower is the backdrop. Entry is excluded on every listing in this comparison. If you also want to go up, buy that separately and do not plan the two for the same hour. Summit slots and a photographer both want the same golden half-hour. Our Eiffel Tower ticket guide has the official prices, and the summit guide is the one to use if the top is the point of the trip. Summit maintenance dates for 2027 are still TBC.

The from-price on each card is the lowest listed option, not a promise that a one-hour session costs the same as a 15-minute one. Longer options add minutes and, on these four, more edited photos. The price basis is the option, so open the product page and read which length you are paying for before you treat the number as the session you want.

None of these listings describes a city filming permit, a studio, or a makeup artist. They are outdoor sessions on public ground at the viewpoints named below. If you need a permit conversation, that is between you and the operator, and it is not something these product pages spell out.

Where you stand

Picster meets at the Cité de l’architecture on Place du Trocadéro. Max Rumeau meets at Trocadéro for a morning session. Paris Ganda meets on the Parvis des Droits de l’Homme, the same terrace, and the listing’s photo is the Bir-Hakeim bridge, so a longer option can move. Captured in Paris meets at 4 Avenue du Président Kennedy and says the session uses up to three viewpoints of the tower. Trocadéro is the classic postcard. The Kennedy side is the tower across the river, with fewer tour groups stacked on the same steps, and a bit more walking.

Wear shoes you can stand in. The esplanade is paved and windy. A coat in a color you like will be in every frame. The photographer is not styling you unless the listing says so, and these four do not.

N° 03Quatre séances

Four photographers, and what you receive

Captured in Paris, when the deadline matters

This is the listing to book if someone else is waiting on the pictures, or if the session is a proposal. It meets at 4 Avenue du Président Kennedy. The options are 40 minutes and an hour and a half. The gallery is sent within 24 hours. You then pick, and 15 edited photos come back within 72 hours (35 edited photos on the longer option). Fifteen edited frames cover up to two people, with five more per extra adult. The description names proposals, engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries, and birthdays. Up to three viewpoints of the tower.

Picster, when you have a few minutes

Picster is the short session. Meet at the Cité de l’architecture. A 15-minute Quickie includes 5 photos, 30 minutes includes 20, an hour includes 50, and the 90-minute options are either 50 photos plus a 30-second video or 75 edited photos. The listing says wheelchair users can take part. It does not say when the files arrive, so do not promise a same-week delivery to anyone else. Book a longer option if the five-photo Quickie would feel like a souvenir rather than a session.

Max Rumeau, in the morning

The morning listing at Trocadéro is a smaller edited set. Thirty minutes is 10 photos you choose. An hour is 20, or 30 for families. Tower entry is excluded. The photos on the listing include proposals. The text of the description does not offer a separate proposal package, so if you are going to kneel, write the operator before you pay and ask them to confirm they will do it. Guessing from a gallery caption is how people end up with a pretty walk and no ring photo.

Paris Ganda, if you want the walk

Paris Ganda meets on the Parvis des Droits de l’Homme and sells 30 minutes, one hour, or two hours. What you are promised is a large email of pictures, 150 to 400, plus 5 to 20 retouched frames. Transport tickets are excluded, which matters if the two-hour option actually moves between bridges. There is no turnaround time in the listing. Take this one when you want more places in the frame and you can wait without a date on the calendar.

An evening cruise is a different picture: you are on the water, the tower is small, and you do not control the pose. If that is the photo you want, use the evening cruise guide instead of hiring someone on the steps. December light is covered in Paris in December. Whether the trip is worth it in the first place is the question on is Paris worth visiting.

N° 04La lumière

Light, rain, and proposals

The tower faces Trocadéro, so the facade you see from the esplanade is in open sky. In winter the useful light is short. On January 15, 2027 the sun sets at 5:21 p.m. On February 14, 2027, a Sunday, it sets at 6:08 p.m. A morning session, which is what the Max Rumeau listing is, avoids the tour-bus peak and the flat gray of mid-afternoon. A late-day session wants you there in the last hour, not at noon.

Rain is normal in these months, about ten days of it in a typical January. These listings do not say the session is cancelled for weather. The cancellation you control is the 24-hour window. If the forecast is a washout, move the booking inside that window rather than hoping the operator calls it off. Bring a coat you are willing to wear in the photos. A hood in every frame is the usual January mistake.

Proposals are a product on one listing and a gallery theme on another. Captured in Paris writes them into the description. Max Rumeau shows them in pictures and does not describe a package. Picster and Paris Ganda do not mention proposals in the text we read. Tell the photographer what is about to happen. A 15-minute Quickie is a tight window for a speech, a kneel, and a second location.

Families fit the hour-long Max Rumeau option, which raises the edited count for families, and the Captured in Paris extra-adult rule. A stroller on the Trocadéro steps is workable on the upper terrace and annoying on the lower gardens. Picster is the listing that says the session is wheelchair accessible. The others do not, so do not assume the route between viewpoints is step-free.

N° 06À savoir

Before you pay

01

Match the option to the photo count

Five edited photos, fifteen, or fifty are different products. The cheap option is often the short one. Open the option list and read the count before you compare prices.

02

Ask for a delivery time in writing

Only Captured in Paris prints one: gallery in 24 hours, edits within 72 hours of your picks. The other three are silent. If you fly home in two days, book the listing that names the clock.

03

Do not double-book the summit

The photographer is on the ground. A summit ticket is a timed entry inside the tower. Leave a gap, or pick one. 2027 summit closure dates are TBC.

04

Say it if there is a ring

Write “proposal” in the booking note when the description supports it, and ask when it does not. A gallery of other people’s proposals is not a promise.

05

Meet five minutes early, at the pin

Trocadéro has several terraces and a palace. Use the address on the option: Cité de l’architecture, the parvis, or 4 Avenue du Président Kennedy. “By the tower” is not a meeting point.

N° 07Good to know

Questions travelers ask

Do I need an Eiffel Tower ticket for a photoshoot?

Not for these four. Each one photographs you outside the tower, at Trocadéro or along Avenue du Président Kennedy. Entry is excluded. Buy a summit or second-floor ticket only if you also want to go up, and do not schedule it in the same hour as the photographer.

How long is a Paris photoshoot at the Eiffel Tower?

On these listings, from 15 minutes to two hours. Picster starts at 15 minutes. Captured in Paris sells 40 minutes and 90 minutes. Max Rumeau sells 30 and 60 minutes. Paris Ganda sells 30 minutes, one hour, and two hours.

When do I get the photos?

Captured in Paris says the gallery arrives within 24 hours, and the edited set within 72 hours after you select. Picster, Max Rumeau, and Paris Ganda do not state a turnaround. Do not invent one.

Can the photographer do a proposal?

Captured in Paris describes proposals, engagements, honeymoons, and anniversaries. Max Rumeau’s gallery shows proposals, but the description does not sell a separate proposal package, so ask first. The other two listings do not mention proposals.

What if it rains?

You can cancel free until 24 hours before on all four. The listings do not say the operator will cancel for rain. If the forecast is a washout, move the session while you are still outside that 24-hour window.

Is a Disneyland Paris photoshoot on this page?

No. These are Paris sessions at the Eiffel Tower. We are not listing Disneyland photographers or park tickets here.

Where do I meet the photographer?

Picster: Cité de l’architecture, Place du Trocadéro. Max Rumeau: Trocadéro. Paris Ganda: Parvis des Droits de l’Homme. Captured in Paris: 4 Avenue du Président Kennedy.
